crimeWoman leaves store in Darien, Connecticut with almost $500 worth of ink cartridges.

DarienTimes.com reported on the theft of 17 ink cartridge worth $474.83 (€354.97) from a CVC pharmacy in Darien, Connecticut on 7 November, with an employee at the store contacting the police the following day to report the crime.

According to a surveillance video, a woman entered the store with a black bag and walked over to the area where the cartridges are kept, although the video did not show her placing ink into her bag. Police said that the woman is then seen leaving the store with a Hallmark bag, which had been located near the ink cartridges. They added that it is “likely that the woman has a key to the display case” in which the cartridges were kept.
