The awards ceremony, hosted by the manufacturing organisation, recognised the company with a runner-up position in the Outstanding Export category for the north-west of England, and was celebrated for its “rapid overseas sales growth” at the event at Salford City Stadium.

The company has expanded into South Africa and France in 2013, and was commended by judges for its “savvy approach and thorough investigation of a challenging international market”, with Totalpost’s revenue generated from overseas sales growing from 19 percent in 2009 to 44 percent in 2012.

Dougal Bennett, Partner at Dunedin, which sponsored the award, said: “Congratulations to Totalpost Services for its success in the Outstanding Export category in the north-west region – an outstanding accomplishment.

“It is a true example of a company fostering growth in the quality and quantity of its exports and showed real innovation in identifying successful partnerships and products in new markets. This was a highly competitive category and we commend all those that made the shortlist.”

David Hymers, Managing Director at Totalpost, added: “We are delighted to have been recognised for our hard work and strong growth in overseas trade. This has been a phenomenal year for Totalpost in which we have entered new markets and opened up subsidiary companies in France, Germany and South Africa.

“None of this would have been possible without the dedication of the whole of the Totalpost team.”

The company has experienced a very successful year, winning a host of awards including two in business, the Queens Award, and Businessperson of the Year and an innovation award for Hymers himself.
