The two new machines are “designed to operate in high-volume business environments”.
Industry Analysts reported on the new release from the OEM in the USA, with the TASKalfa 8001i and 6501i monochrome MFPs offering “ultra-reliability, superior output quality and user-friendly controls”, according to Kyocera.
The machines are also said by the OEM to provide “overall efficiency, professional finishing and exceptional document ouput”, with the 8001i featuring print speeds of 80ppm and the 6501 speeds of 65ppm. Other features of the printers include paper capacity of 7,650 sheets, scan speeds of up to 180ipm, Apple AirPrint compatibility, and a host of applications including PinPoint Scan, AccuSender and PreservDOX, which provide remote scanning, large-size scan sending and document protection respectively.
Both printers also feature a preventative maintenance schedule and drum yield of 600,000 pages, which the OEM notes creates “longer intervals between required service visits, thus minimising maintenance costs and raising productivity levels”.

The TASKalfa 8001i and 6501i are available now for $29,090 (€21,513) and $22,900 (€16,935) respectively.
