The OEM has introduced a new series of A3 MFPs in India.
CIOL reported on the OEM’s move into the A3 printer market in India, which it believes, alongside its enterprise business, will “contribute 10 percent” to its revenues in the “next few years”. The series, the MultiXpress K2200 range, has been “designed specifically to meet the needs of enterprise and SMBs”, and comes “fully loaded with features”.
There are two printers in the range, the K2200 and K2200ND, and amongst the series’ key features are “ergonomic design, compact size” and “high reliability”, with Samsung said to be “bullish” about strengthening its position in the market, with CIOL adding that it has “developed an aggressive go-to-market strategy for tapping the market” in India. The K2200 is the standard model, whilst the K2200ND features network functionality and duplexing.
Sameer Garde, Senior Vice President of the Enterprise Business Team at Samsung India, stated: “As enterprises rapidly expand their businesses, we want to empower them with innovative technology that helps them to evolve and grow their business with a competitive edge.
“We today offer a suite of innovative, high-quality and reliable smart enterprise devices and solutions that address all business needs across education, healthcare, hospitality, retail and financial sectors. Our entry into the A3 printer category is a confirmation of our commitment to offer new dimensions in printing solutions to both enterprise and SMBs.”
He added: “The MultiXpress K2200 series is a highly efficient, cost effective and easy-to-use range of A3 MFPs. We will continue to introduce printing solutions that are customised for regional and user environments, thereby providing perfect products that satisfy local customer needs.
“Over the next fiscal, we plan to become a leading player in the A3 MFP market. Keeping in line with this aim, we will be focusing on establishing and consolidating our regional distribution channel as direct partners, for A3 printers.”
