The distributor has launched toner and components under various brands for Samsung, Dell, Xerox, HP, Kyocera and Lexmark machines.
The first releases from the company is under its Absolute Black range, with toner and components now available for Samsung’s M series of Xpress printers. This range includes: the SL-M2620; M2620; M2820; M2670; M2870; M2625; M2626; M2825; M2826; M3320; M3370; M3820; M3870; M4070; M3375; M3825; M3875; M4025 and M4075 machines.
Uninet states that the M series of Xpress printers are “low-end” monochrome and MFP machines with print speeds ranging from 27 to 40ppm, and which retail from $139 (€102). The M2625, 2626 and 2825, along with the M2875 MFP, feature a two-piece cartridge design that “utilises separate toner and drum units”, with the former available in 1,200 and 3,000 page versions, whilst the latter features a yield of 9,000 pages.
The Pro Xpress M3325, 3825, 4025 and the M3370 and M4070 MFPs meanwhile feature print speeds of 40ppm, with three different yields of all-in-one toner cartridge including 3,000, 5,000 and 10,000 pages are rated at 40 ppm.
The second release is X Generation black toner and components for Dell’s 3330 monochrome machine, which Uninet says is a small 40ppm device that “has been in the market for some time”, but for which the smartchips “have just recently become available”. The printer has both a 7,000 and 14,000 page yield cartridge, and a separate drum unit cartridge rated at 30,000 pages.
The third product set launched is X Generation black toner and components for Xerox’s Phaser 3635 MFP, a monochrome printer “available in the market for some time” but still popular “due to its affordable price”, and featuring print speeds of 35ppm alongside duplexing and all-in-one toner cartridges rated at 5,000 and 10,000 pages, for which the distributor also noted a complete remanufacturing solution is available.
The fourth product is a multipurpose X Generation colour toner formula, designed to work in HP’s CP4525, 4025, 3525, CM3530 and 4540 MFP machines, with the toners new “general-purpose chemically produced toners” featuring “high gloss, superior fusing and yields” compared to other toners available. The formula works on all the listed machines, meaning remanufacturers are “able to carry less inventory of expensive colour toner”, and has been qualified with all Uninet and OEM components.
Another Absolute Black toner and components release comes for Kyocera’s FS-4300 and TK-3130 monochrome machines, the former of which is a “recent release” with 60ppm print speeds, “improved print quality [and] better print density”, with “ownership low cost […] their main feature” alongside a 500,000 page drum. Toner is the “only consumable users will need to replace”, according to Uninet, with cartridges available in 12,500, 15,500 and 25,000 page versions.
A chip release for Lexmark machines was also announced, and said to be “highly anticipated” by the distributor, with the chips designed for use in Lexmark’s E260, E360, E460, X264, X3636, X364, X463, X464 and X466 machines. The devices are “not the latest generation” from the OEM, but “surely one of the most popular” according to Uninet, and “remanufacturers have ben expecting the release of these smartchips”, which give them access “to a very large install base of machines and supplies revenue”.
The distributor added that the chips “present a state-of-the-art chip technology that works on many different models worldwide”, and also offer “limitless benefits” including “multi-application, multi-brand and multi-model, multi-engine, multi-region [and] cross-functional yield”, as well as “total emulation”. The chips are also “worry-free patented”, and are said by Uninet to be “the most complete Lexmark replacement chip[s] in the market”.
