OEM launches four new A3 MFP printers and scanners for the Indian market.
Ciol reported on the launch of Kyocera’s new TASKalfa 1800, 2200, 1801 and 2201 MFPs in India, introducing colour scanning into its segment one machines for the first time.
The machines are reportedly “simple to install and work with” and have a drum life of 1.5 lacs pages, which is said to be three times more than equivalent devices; and between nine and 10.5 lac prints of mainframe/machine life – deemed the “highest in the industry”.
The introduction of colour scanning in the OEM’s new MFPs allows for “flawless digitisation of colour documents”; while each model is equipped with a “print box” feature that ensures document security and confidentiality. Users must also enter a password on the machine before documents are printed to further ensure document security.
In terms of environmental impact, the machines consume a low amount of energy at 385 watts per hour while in printing and/or copying mode, said to be the “least in the industry for this segment”.
