Award given to Susan Dorow by Kent-Sussex Industries Inc. for her work in cartridge remanufacturing.
CapeGazette.com reports that US-based Kent-Sussex Industries Inc. (KSI) has named Susan Dorow as its Employee of the Third Quarter 2013, with Dorow working for the company’s Cartridge Service remanufacturing printer cartridges.
Dorow has been employed since September 2012 by KSI, which is a not-for-profit agency providing vocational training and employment services to individuals with disabilities in the area; with the company explaining that it gave the award to Dorow due to her tackling “new work experiences with a smile” and learning the various steps involved in the cartridge remanufacturing process quickly. It added that her supervisors believe she is a “talented, versatile employee” and that “she will continue learning and bringing a positive attitude to the workplace”.
Winning the Employee of the Quarter award sees Dorow’s name added to a permanent plaque at KSI, as well as Dorow receiving a $50 (€36) Visa gift card from Dover Federal Credit Union; a gift certificate donated by G & R Campground, Houston that allows her to spend a weekend in one of its cottages; and a one-year aquatics membership from the Greater Milford Boys & Girls Club.
