Rock Oil saves over £1,500 after mailroom audit by franking machine cartridge remanufacturer.
Totalpost has announced that by recommending that lubricants manufacturer Rock Oil switch to franked rather than stamped mail, it has helped the company to save over £1,500 ($2,500/€1,800) on postage costs after five months; with Totalpost predicting that sending its 20,000 items of mail a year using a franking machine could allow Rock Oil to save around £3,000 ($5,000/€3,600) annually.
Rock Oil opted to use Totalpost’s Pitney Bowes DM300 franking machine, and can reduce costs further by using the company’s remanufactured franking ink cartridges for the machine.
Commenting on the changes made to Rock Oil’s mailing process, Greg Hewitt, Director of the company, said: “The mailroom audit carried out by Totalpost highlighted some interesting findings in terms of the predicted savings we could make. We are very pleased that the savings have exceeded our expectations in the first five months of use. The franking machine is extremely easy to use and has helped us streamline our mailroom processes.”
Mark Wright, Regional Sales Manager at Totalpost, said: “Rock Oil is a great example of how businesses can easily make mailroom savings, their mailroom audit quickly highlighted this. Any company that sends more than an average of eight second class letters a day can make savings by switching from stamped to franked mail.”
