New range of colour and monochrome toner and components launched by Uninet

Jan 28, 2014

Xerox Phaser 7800The distributor has released products for Epson, Lexmark, Dell, Samsung and Xerox machines.

The first product launch comes under the company’s Absolute Black brand, and is toner and components designed for use in Epson’s Aculaser M1200 printer, which Uninet notes is a “small” monochrome laser printer with a print speed of 20ppm, described by the company as “no-frills” due to having no “special features or additional options”.

The printer uses a developer cartridge with a standard yield of 1,800 pages, and a higher yield version with a yield of 3,200 pages, and the machine contains a separate photoconducting unit rated at 20,000 pages. Uninet added that it offers a complete remanufacturing solution for the cartridges used in the machines.

The second product range launched comes under Uninet’s Absolute Color range, with toner and components available for use in Lexmark’s C935, C930, X940 and 945 machines, with the distributor describing the C935 as a “high-end” colour printer with print speeds of 40ppm, and as a printer able to print from letter-size to A3 at the same speed.

The company adds that it is “targeted for high volume print environments” that need high-resolution prints “on a wide variety of paper types and sizes”, with a recommended monthly volume said to be around 30,000 pages. Cartridges used in the machine have a yield of 38,000 pages in black and 24,000 in colour, whilst a photoconductor unit is rated at 50,000 pages in black and 44,000 pages in colour. Uninet also offers a “complete remanufacturing solution” for the cartridges.

Another release in the Absolute Color range is toner and components for Samsung’s CLP-775 and 770 printers, which are colour laser networked devices that have duplexing as standard, with print speeds of 33ppm. Uninet states that the devices are “designed for large workgroup environments where colour printing is the primary function”, with cartridges similar to previous all-in-one Samsung releases, with a yield of 7,700 pages for all four colours. A complete remanufacturing solution is again available.

The product release for Xerox this month is components for use in Xerox’s Phaser 7800 colour laser printer, which Uninet states is the OEM’s “top of the line” wide-format machine, with print speeds of 45ppm at resolutions up to 1,200 x 2,400 dpi. The device features colour management software and finishing options, and cartridges are available in low yield and high yield for colour, and one version only for monochrome.

The colour cartridges feature yields of 6,000 pages for low-yield and 17,200 pages for high-yield, whilst the black cartridge features a yield of 24,000 pages. The imaging unit or drum cartridge is “presented as a separate cartridge”, is rated at 145,000 pages and is universal, with only a single imaging unit offered “that works for any colour”.

Finally, Uninet launched universal chips under its Universal Superchips brand for Lexmark’s T650, 652. 654 and 656 machines as well as for Dell’s 5530 and 5535 printers. The chips are said by the distributor to be “highly anticipated”, with remanufacturers “expecting release of these smartchips that will gain access to a very large install base of machines and supplies revenue”

The chips offer “state-of-the-art” technology that “works on many different models worldwide”, with benefits including multi-application, multi-brand and multi-model, multi-engine, multi-region and cross-functional yield, total emulation and “worry-free” patented status. The company also claims that the chip is the “most complete Lexmark replacement chip in the market”.
