The remanufacturer has produced a high-yield replacement for the original.
MSE noted that the “intelligently re-engineered” cartridge is a remanufactured product designed for use as a replacement for use in the Samsung ML-4550 machine, and is a high-yield replacement consumable. The OEM printer was launched in 2006, and replaced the ML-3560, with MSE stating that it has “developed and employed a proprietary technology” that reduces issues “which are evident in many cartridges currently on the market” including dusting and dumping.
The remanufacturer added that the product was approved using what it says is the “market’s most exhaustive testing protocols”, including “environmental stress testing, accelerated aging testing, shipping simulation and ISO 19752 testing”.
Luke Goldberg, Senior Vice President at MSE, commented: “We have no doubt that Samsung will make a big push upmarket to compete with entrenched printer OEMs for the SME and enterprise space. This is MSE’s first release of a non-SOHO Samsung model, and the technical innovation that we applied will serve as the fulcrum as we expand the range going forward.”
