Startups.co.uk reported on the drive by Cartridge World UK to find “local partners to help grow [its] brand” in North East England, specifically in the Teesside area, which includes the city of Middlesbrough.

The company stated that it wants to “expand its network” across the region, and will be exhibiting at the Stockton Franchise Show today at the Arc Theatre in Stockton in order to “attract new franchisees” to the business and add to its portfolio of over 180 stores in the UK. Franchise packages are available from £29,950 ($50,055/€36,438) plus VAT, and include “in-depth training” and support.

Adam Davison, Cartridge World UK’s Operations Manager, commented:“Whilst Cartridge World are regarded as the printer experts, a Cartridge World franchise isn’t just about ink. It can offer so much more.

“Based on the number of printers in homes and offices across the UK, we know that the market is worth £1.6 billion ($2.67 billion/€1.94 billion). Tap into just 10 percent of that in Teesside, and a successful Cartridge World franchisee could achieve annual sales of £400,000 ($668,519/€486,661).”
