Manufacturer of bio-based toner hires Bill Rogers as part of its leadership team to assist company in promoting sustainability and bringing new products to market.
In a press release, Environment First Printing (EFP) announced that Bill Rogers is to lead its Innovation and Information Technology Group, having previously led the State of New Hampshire’s Department of Information Technology; with Rogers’ role being to lead the company’s environmental sustainability initiatives.
Based in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, EFP has manufactured bio-based toner cartridges since 2010, with current customers ranging from law firms to brewing companies. The toner cartridges are said to “save two to three litres of foreign oil by replacing it with soybean oil”, with the bio-based ingredients grown by US farmers.
Commenting on his new position within the company, Rogers said: “I’m very pleased to join the leadership team to promote environmental sustainability and help save our country’s precious natural resources.”
He added: “EFP has grown leaps and bounds from 2010. They continue to grow through sales and acquisitions; they need to expand on their innovation and information business plan. The company goals are to continue to bring new products and technology to market such as bio-based ink cartridges and other bio-based products and services. I’m here to make a difference and to lead the environmental sustainability initiatives.”
