Indian Express reported on the OEM’s intention to target SMBs in India with “new print tech”, with industry forecasts stating that “up to 50 percent [of] smartphone users will be using mobile printing by 2015” in the country.

The news outlet noted that the launches included the Xpress C4XX series, the MultiXpress CLX-9301 colour series, and the SCX-1828 monochrome series, and added that Samsung intends that the latter two series will be aimed at SMBs, whilst the first series supports NFC (near-field communication) technology.

Samsung is said to have “identified and impressed upon its printing technology to adhere to the requirements, options and economics of SMB[s]” in India, with the machines said to be “backed with innovative features” that will “make printing solutions significantly cost-effective, cheaper and yet provide for multiplicity”.

David S.W. Song, the OEM’s Senior Vice President of Strategic Sales and Marketing, in turn stated to the news outlet that “pushing the boundaries of innovation is what our printing solutions [are] all about”.
