Static Control releases new products for toner remanufacturers

Jun 10, 2014

The largest manufacturer of aftermarket imaging systems and components launched eight new products.

HP's LaserJet 4100

HP’s LaserJet 4100

The products are designed for remanufacturers of a range of OEM cartridges, including from HP, Brother and Samsung. The new products include: a toner for use in Brother’s HL-1110 cartridge; an Odyssey Universal toner for use in HP cartridges; doctor blades for Samsung’s MLT-D103 and D104 cartridges; replacement tape seals for a range of Okidata cartridges; and chips for Okidata’s B420, B430, MB460, MB470, and MB480 cartridges and Samsung’s CLT-x659 cartridge.

The toner for the Brother HL-1100 toner cartridge was “specifically designed” to “not damage the fuser”, which is an issue “seen in other aftermarket offerings”, according to Static Control. After “several months” of research and development, the toner is now available, offering “high image density and low backgrounding with no fuser build-up or ghosting”.

The Odyssey universal toner for HP’s 4000 cartridge, used in HP’s Laserjet 2100, 2300, 4000 and 4100 machines, offers “dark densities” and “overcome[s] previous filming issues”. Static Control added that using the toner with its “newly-released” replacement doctor blade ensures densities “will be maintained throughout the life of the cartridge”, with the silicone doctor blade preventing toner “from sticking” and “eliminating premature wear to the mag roller”.

The replacement doctor blades, replacement tape seal and replacement chips are all also available now from Static Control, which stated that those interested in the latest products “should contact a sales representative to be added” to its new product email, which is “sent out with each new release”.
