UTec’s Kyocera cartridges
The first launch is alternative cartridges for Samsung’s CLT-406 colour laser cartridge range, which UTec says will “enhance the colour laser cartridge product line”, as the cartridges are “popular model[s] for the SoHo [and] small workgroups”, with UTec’s replacements “examined by [a] third party laboratory which showed an encouraging result in consistent SAD and colour gamut”.
The cartridges feature yields of 1,500 pages in black and 1,000 pages in colour, and are compatible with a wide range of Samsung machines in different regions. In the Asia-Pacific, the cartridges work in the CLP-365 and 365W printers and the CLX-3305, 3305W, 3305FW and 3305FN machines; whilst tin the EU, they work in the CLP-360, 365 and 365W devices and the CLX-3300, 3305, 3305W, 3305FN and 3305FW machines.
In the US meanwhile, the cartridges can be used in the following devices: the CLP-360; 362; 363; 364; 365; 365W; 367W; and 368: the CLX-3300; 3302; 3303; 3303FW; 3304; 3305FN; 3305FW; 3305W; 3307FW; and 3307W: and finally, the CLP-365W/EXP, CLX-3305FW/GOV and CLX-3307FW/GOV.
The company’s other releases are alternatives for the Kyocera Mita TK580 and 590 cartridges, which UTec states are “popular colour laser cartridge models” that “showcase the innovation and user friendly design” that “generate consistent printout quality without backgrounding from the first page to the last page”.
The TK580 cartridges feature yields of 3,500 pages in black and 2,800 pages in colour and are compatible with the FS-C5150DN machine, whilst the TK590 cartridges feature yields of 7,000 pages in black and 5,000 pages in colour, and are compatible with Kyocera Mita’s FSC5250DN, C2026MFP, C2026MFP+, C2126MFP, C2126MFP+, C2526MFP and C2626MFP machines.
