Canon USA launches two new MFPs

The OEM revealed that the new machines, the C350iF and C250iF, are aimed at businesses “seeking an advanced colour workgroup print solution”, and are MEAP (Multifunctional Embedded Application Platform) devise, which provide “additional flexibility” for MDS systems. Both machines feature customisable software and V2 Colour, a new colour profile “produc[ing] vivid, vibrant images”.

The printers feature print and scan speeds of 36ppm in colour and 26ppm in monochrome, with a standard paper capacity of 650 sheets that can be expanded to 2,300. The printers are also said by Canon to feature a “reliable, easy-to-maintain design” and “simplified installation and servicing” so customers can “experience greater productivity”.

Junichi Yoshitake, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Canon USA’s Business Imaging Solutions Group, stated: “With the introduction of these new letter- and legal-sized imageRUNNER ADVANCE devices, Canon has established one of the most complete and progressive line-ups of office solutions in the industry.

“Our goal always has been, and will continue to be, equipping our customers with a solution – not just a device. The new imageRUNNER ADVANCE C350iF and C250iF models provide users with even more options for customizing an MFP to fit their unique workflow needs, office environment and budget parameters.”

The C350iF and C250iF will be available in early August in the US at suggested retail prices of $4,400 (€3,285) and $3,600 (€2,688) respectively.
