UK-based franchise has been operating for ten years, with two further branches established during this time.

On celebrating the tenth anniversary of Cartridge World Office Supplies & Printing Solutions in East Lancashire, the franchise’s owner, Darren Turner, discussed how the business has changed over the past decade, noting that “things have changed a lot since I first opened my doors for business”.

He explained: “Initially my business was retail. Customers came to me to buy printer cartridges and ask for advice. Whilst retail is still very much a part of what we do, we’re now more of an office supplies and printing solutions provider. For instance we’ve developed a service for business, home and education that saves 60 percent against most other printing solutions; one low fixed monthly fee covers the cost of a printer, maintenance and cartridges – with no hidden extras.” The Recycler has reported on the development of this service, known as “Infinity”, which now serves schools, businesses and consumers.

The business has expanded since it first began, with two further branches added in Blackburn and Accrington, and eight full-time staff now employed. Turner said: “I put our success over the past decade, down to having an excellent team that strive to deliver world class customer service, whilst also developing products to address our customers’ changing needs.

“These days, we do much more than simply supply cartridges. We offer good value office products and printing solutions, along with down to earth advice and expertise on everything to do with the office environment. And, of course, our staff are always happy to have a chat. That’s something you can’t do online.”
