The company has launched products for Lexmark and Kyocera machines.
The first Lexmark launch is X Generation multipurpose colour toner and components for use in the C and X746 and 748 printers, with the toner qualified “in over 15” machines in the OEM’s ranges. Uninet stated that “as most remanufacturers are aware, toners released for newer machines will often work backwards into older models, and having a toner to use across multiple engine models makes life easier for remanufacturers, reducing inventories and helping to keep costs down”.
The toner is polyester-based and features “optimum” colour matching and glossy finish, with Uninet noting that the printers feature speeds of 35ppm and a 1200 dpi resolution alongside toner cartridges with yields of 12,000 pages in black and 10,000 pages in colour. Offering a complete remanufacturing solution for the cartridge – including smartchips for the printer and MFP versions – Uninet added that its offerings allow remanufacturers “to sell and stock only one set of cartridges to work in both applications”.
The second release for Lexmark is Absolute Colour toner and components for the CS and CX 310 and 410 printers, the “newest colour printers” with speeds of 25ppm and 32ppm respectively alongside a 1200 dpi resolution, as well as toner cartridges rated at 4,000 pages in black and 3,000 in colour. The devices feature Pantone colour matching to “optimise colour reproductions”, and Uninet adds that the machines “use the same toner cartridges with different chips” between single and multifunction versions.
Uninet stated that it offers a “complete remanufacturing solution” for the cartridges, including smartchips that work in the single and multifunction variants, again allowing remanufacturers to “sell and stock only one set of cartridges” for both applications.
The first Kyocera release meanwhile is Absolute Colour toner and components for Kyocera’s FS-C 5400 TK 572 colour printer, which features a print speed of 35ppm, 600 x 600 dpi resolution and the OEM’s “long-life amorphous silicon drum” which “provides a long product life equivalent to a printer’s”. Only the toner and chip need to be replaced, meaning that the cartridge is “potentially very profitable and “easy to remanufacture”.
Uninet added that the machine also features different paper-handling options alongside duplexing, and the three cartridges used – the TK570, 572 and 574 – are rated at 16,000 pages in black and 12,000 pages in colour, whilst the drum units last up to 200,000 pages, and Uninet offers a complete remanufacturing solution.
Finally, the second Kyocera release is X Generation black toner and components for the FS-2100 TK 3104, 3102 and 3100 machines, with the 2100DN “one of the new generation monochrome printers”. The device features a print speeds of 40ppm and resolution of 1200 dpi, with built-in duplexing, and the toner and chips are the only replaceable components, making the cartridge “potentially very profitable and “easy to remanufacture”. The three cartridges used in the printers – the TK-3100, 3102 and 3104 – are in turn rated at 12,500 pages, and Uninet offers a complete remanufacturing solution.
