The Bolton News reported on the UK-based cartridge etailer TonerGiant, which has launched its own MPS tool for consumers on its website. The news outlet stated that the company’s “continued success” has seen its parent group – NetGiant – report online sales growth of 300 percent, with £10 million ($16 million/€12.5 million) worth of printer products sold each year.
The success has meant that the company has been able to create 12 permanent jobs “from the local area”, and its MPS solution is aimed at “small and medium organisations looking to find a way of making the management of their printers and printing easier”. TonerGiant’s MPS tool is installed on a business’s network to monitor ink or toner levels, which “significantly reduces printer downtime”.
In turn, the tool is able to “increase efficiency and reduc[e] the amount spent on printer consumables” through monitoring consumable use on all printers. The tool is free to download from TonerGiant’s website (www.tonergiant.co.uk), and features “no contracts or commitments”.
David Liggett, TonerGiant’s Business Development Manager, commented: “I’m really pleased to be able to offer an effective print management solution to our customers with no set-up cost whatsoever. They can now enjoy environmental, cost and efficiency benefits from being able to monitor their printer supplies, benefits that many big companies have been enjoying for years.”
