TonerGiant highlights aftermarket benefits

TonerGiant Ink & TonerGreater Manchester-based TonerGiant.co.uk notes cost savings and environmental merits of using remanufactured cartridges.

The company, which was launched in 2006 as a trading division of NetGiant Ltd, supplies remanufactured ink and toner cartridges and is encouraging businesses of all sizes to “consider the commercial and ethical benefits” of buying third-party aftermarket cartridges over OEM-branded products.

Following research conducted on a cross-section of its account customers, TonerGiant found that businesses could save over £1,250 ($2,000/€1,600) each year by using its remanufactured cartridges, whilst still producing print-outs “that closely match the results of an original manufacturer’s product” but in a more environmentally friendly way, with many aftermarket cartridges made using recycled components.

The company stated that due to developments in manufacturing processes and technologies, remanufactured cartridges bought from “reputable” suppliers now have “levels of reliability, and produce print results” rivalling OEM products; adding that it is currently allowing a selection of its account customers to try its ink and toner cartridges for free “in order for them to experience their capabilities for themselves”.

Gary Flynn, Managing Director of TonerGiant.co.uk, said that there has “never been a better time to trust the quality and reliability” of remanufactured cartridges, commenting: “Some may believe that any ink or toner cartridge that isn’t manufactured by the original manufacturer will be inferior. I want to reassure those people that is not the case. Our TonerGiant ink and toner cartridges are manufactured to our demanding specifications, in facilities that meet internationally recognised standards. Our own products will exceed your expectations.

“Environmentally, they’re the right choice to make. And in terms of savings, businesses like yours could save a significant amount of cash each year, as highlighted by our research.”

The Recycler reported in August on the launch of TonerGiant’s MPS tool for consumers on its website; while the company’s Ryan Holt discussed the use of social media in business as an engagement tool rather than to simply gain more followers last year.
