OEM will have five business divisions and combine its four regional sales organisations into two.
Kodak announced its new organisational structure, which will see the creation of five market-focused business division: Print Systems; Enterprise Inkjet Systems; Micro 3D Printing and Packaging; Software and Solutions; and Consumer and Film, all of which will function as end-to-end operating units with responsibility and accountability for portfolio, product design, engineering, services, sales, purchasing and supply chain.
Looking at each division, Print Systems will be led by Brad Kruchten, President of the division and Senior Vice President of Kodak; and will serve graphic arts and commercial print customers with printing plates, computer to plate (CTP) imaging solutions, electrophotographic printing solutions (EPS), OEM toner and all equipment services.
Philip Cullimore, another Senior Vice President of Kodak, will be President of the Enterprise Inkjet Systems division, which will serve existing and future inkjet printing customers with KODAK PROSPER Systems, KODAK VERSAMARK Systems, Print on Demand Solutions (PODS), and ink OEM solutions. Cullimore will also lead the Micro 3D Printing and Packaging division on an interim basis, with the division focusing on serving packaging customers and display OEM partners.
Meanwhile, the Software and Solutions division will have Kodak Senior Vice President Eric-Yves Mahe as its President, with the division including Kodak Technology Solutions, KODAK Unified Workflow Solutions, Brand Protection Solutions, Kodak Services for Business, and Design 2 Launch solutions used to manage and coordinate use of brand assets.
Finally, the Consumer and Film division will be headed by Steven Overman, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Kodak. This is the OEM’s most consumer-facing division, responsible for consumer inkjet solutions, motion picture and commercial films, synthetic chemicals, and brand licensing. It will also explore other potential initiatives in the consumer space.
In addition to the creation of these five divisions, Kodak is combining its current four regional sales organisations into two: EUCAN, which consists of Europe, the US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, whichwill be led by Kodak Vice President John O’Grady; and ALMA, which is made up of Asia, Latin America, the Middle East and Africa, and will be led by Lois Lebegue, another of Kodak’s Vice Presidents.
All of these changes will be effective from 1 January 2015.
