Static Control’s booth at Remanexpo@Paperworld 2014
The largest manufacturer of aftermarket imaging systems and components will give a talk at the show’s REMCON seminars featuring speakers from HP and Lexmark.
Remanexpo@Paperworld 2015 will run from 31 January to 3 February at Messe Frankfurt’s show grounds in Frankfurt, and noting that Paperworld is “Europe’s largest tradeshow for the office supplies and stationery industry”, Static Control commented that its booth at the event – C33 – will “focus primarily” on IP issues concerning the industry, while Jason Doran, European General Sales Manager, will give a talk on day three of the event about IP “in collaboration” with HP’s Bernadine Maher and Lexmark’s Andrew Gardner.
Other REMCON seminars will see Static Control’s Technical Manager Tom Claessens and Technical Support Manager James Macbeth give “informative technical demonstrations” concerning the “correct remanufacturing procedures” for Lexmark’s C792, Samsung’s CLP-770 and HP’s M217 cartridges. Question-and-answer sessions will take place after each demonstration, and Static Control stated that interested attendees should “visit the stand during the exhibition” for more information.
Also at the company’s booth will be its recently-launched ink and inkjet products, with sales team members on hand to “discuss any products which remanufacturers are interested in”, including Static Control’s COLORCONTROL Replacement Imaging Systems.
Ken Lalley, Managing Director of the European Division, commented: “Every year Remanexpo provides us with an excellent opportunity to establish new business relationships, as well as a chance to connect with our existing customers. This year brings us the added privilege of presenting with HP and Lexmark, which we hope will reinforce the union between the OEMs and the genuine aftermarket when it comes to matters of patent infringement, clones and the defence of IP in our industry.”
The REMCON seminars will take place in the seminar theatre located in the centre of Hall 6 during Remanexpo@Paperworld 2015, which will run from 31 January to 3 February at Messe Frankfurt’s show grounds in Frankfurt. It will feature a variety of informative presentations and demonstrations from 11 different speakers representing a number of companies and associations relating to the aftermarket industry.
Among the topics to be covered as part of the programme will be pricing strategies, the colour market, IP, market insights, business inkjet, 3D printing, and opportunities and challenges for remanufacturers for the year ahead; as well as an introduction to remanufacturing for anyone new to the industry.
