Monochrome laser printer and four MFCs designed for SOHOs and SMBs now available in Philippines.
Manila Standard Today reported on the launch of Brother’s newest series of products in the Philippines, with the machines designed to meet the needs of SOHOs and SMBs due to their compact size and “full range of networking and workgroup features.
The MFC-L2740 OW model is able to scan, copy and fax using a Dual CIS scanner, “saving time, effort, and printing costs”; with all of the devices including a high-yield toner with the ability to print 2,600 pages, and replacement toners available with the same yield or a lower yield of 1,200 pages.
The printers also offer automatic two-sided printing and either wireless or network connectivity, with the MFC-L2740DW Wi-Fi Direct model able to connect to mobile devices via Brother’s mobile printing apps “without the need to hook up to a computer or via wireless network”.
A “Deep Sleep” power saving mode is a further feature of the devices, meaning that they consume less electricity when not in use, thus helping to improve their environmental impact. In addition, a low-energy standby feature takes power consumption to as low as 0.06 watts.
The Recycler reported on the release of these devices in both the Middle East and Australia in September and October 2014.
