The store in Evesham was chosen to pick local loyalty card scheme prize winners.
Tewkesbury Ad Mag reported on the Evesham store’s participation in the Heritage Loyalty Draw, which rewards shoppers in the UK town, with owner Richard Jones choosing “the two lucky winners” of the award, who each won £25 ($38/€34) in cash and a gift voucher for a fishing shop respectively.
The competition sees around 70 stores in the town give out cards, which feature space for 10 stickers, which shoppers can fill up by shopping at the stores. Each purchase at a participating store rewards the shopper with two stickers, and Jones added that “this is a fantastic scheme for shoppers, traders and to promote Evesham. It’s just a bit of fun, so please give it a go”. The proceeds from each completed card also goes towards restoring the town’s bell tower.
The Recycler reported last year that Cartridge World Evesham had moved to bigger premises as it celebrated its 10th anniversary, with the business’ expansion found to have paid off later in the year as it was able to “increase the range of printers and accessories” it sold in-store and offer customers product demonstrations in its show room.
The store also received a local ‘Best of Evesham’ award in the Office Supplies and Stationers category after customers gave a number of testimonials for the franchise’s “great service”, and revealed earlier this year that it would begin selling No-Match e-cigarettes, following in the footsteps of other Cartridge World UK stores.
