The OEM released the inkjet and laser series in the Middle Eastern nation.
Trade Arabia reported on the launch by Canon Middle East in Bahrain of the Maxify inkjet and i-Sensys laser ranges, with the former aimed at “small businesses and office spaces where printers are shared by a team”, and the latter enabling “high-speed, high-quality laser printing, copying and colour scanning”.
The launch event was organised by Intercol, Canon Middle East’s authorised distributor in Bahrain, and was attended by representatives from the OEM’s “leading retailer partners” there, including Sharaf DG, LuLu Hypermarket, Carrefour and Geant.
The Maxify range of inkjet printers were launched globally in September last year, with five new printers said to be “ideal” for users in the “construction, real estate, professional services, repair and maintenance, healthcare, retail and food services industries”.
The AIO devices feature “high-quality [prints], low cost per print, quick first print [and] cloud printing capabilities”, and include the MB5320, MB5020, MB2320, MB2020 and iB4020, with each having “high ink and paper capacities” alongside “fast first print-out speeds”. In turn, a new printhead and mechanical system works with a Dual Resistant High Density (DRHD) individual ink tank system.
