The supplier produced the OPC drum for use in Ricoh’s Aficio MP 9000, 1100 and 1350 machines, and toners for Utax and Olivetti cartridges.
The OPC is part of Katun’s Performance product line, and is designed for use in the OEM’s Aficio MP 9000, 1100 and 1350 MFP machines, with Katun adding that “this new drum is just one of several high quality products being introduced in European markets in March”. The drum is also said to be able to “help dealers improve their profitability by reducing their cost-per-copy compared to the OEM drum”.
In addition, the drum also “fits and performs in” several other printer models from OEMs including Danka Infotec, Gestetner, Lanier, Nashuatec, Rex Rotary InfoPrint Solution, Toshiba and Savin. The toner products meanwhile include an Access colour toner for use in Utax’ 1725 and 1730 machines, and a Performance toner for use in Olivetti’s D-Copia 3500 MF, 4500 MF and 5500 MF machines.
Katun stated that both colour toner sets “enable dealers to save money while still providing their customers with consistent performance and OEM-equivalent yields”.
