The global retail franchise was named by FranchiseDirect.com in its 2015 Top 100 Global Franchise rankings.
In a press release, Cartridge World stated that FranchiseDirect.com is a “leading franchising industry information portal”, and annually names its top 100 global franchises, with Cartridge World having “earned a spot on this prestigious list” which is “regarded as one of the benchmarks of the industry”.
Alongside Cartridge World were other “diverse and dynamic” global brands including Subway, H&R Block and Snap-on Tools, and all those named “outperformed thousands of other franchises”, with FranchiseDirect.com adding that “all of the Top 100 Global Franchises share the keys to business success at any level including: a well-defined business identity, a clear business plan, a commitment to training and support, sensitivity to environmental issues, and the ability to innovate to keep pace with ever-changing social and economic conditions.
“The Top 100 Global Franchises thus serve as models for early-stage franchises looking to expand, as well as those companies considering the benefits of the franchise business model”. Cartridge World noted that it had “added more than 30 new franchisees” in the USA last year alone, with Cartridge World North America’s CEO William Swanson commenting that “we’re a brand on the move. In 2015 we are looking to add 40-plus new franchisees to our system. Cartridge World offers a tremendous growth opportunity in the office supply industry”.
The global franchise expanded into the Middle East and Africa earlier this month, while in January the North American franchise was named in the top 100 US franchises, and Swanson spoke in February about how the Staples-Office Depot merger “will help Cartridge World”.
