Brother donates to Cyclone Pam relief

VanuatuThe OEM has given AU$20,000 ($15,300/€14,100) to the Australian Red Cross Society to bolster its work in Vanuatu.

Cyclone Pam left seven dead after hitting the Southern Pacific island earlier this month, in what is considered one of the worst natural disasters in Vanuatu’s history. In 2014, Brother joined with Canon to donate ¥5 million ($4.1 million/€3.8 million) to the Japanese Red Cross Society following the 6.1 magnitude earthquake that hit southwestern China.

It also chipped into relief efforts for Thailand after floods hit there in 2011.
