ILG launches remanufactured HP toner cartridge

CF283XThe company has released a remanufactured version of the CF283X for use in LaserJet Pro machines.

The monochrome cartridge, more commonly known as the 83X, is a toner cartridge used in the OEM’s LaserJet Pro M201 and M225 MFPs, which include the M201dw, M201n, M225dn and M225dw MFP. The “popular” cartridge features a page yield of 2,200 pages “matching the OEM”, while ILG also claims it offers “substantial cost savings to the end-user”.

The remanufacturer previously released the CF283A in a 1,500 page yield version in 2014, and the new release “utilises strict remanufacturing quality standards”, with ILG using the OEM “as their benchmark”. The company added that all products are “tested by ILG’s factory-trained technicians under strict quality control standards”.

The cartridge also features the company’s Lifetime warranty, which ILG calls the “first of its kind”, and the company added that its remanufactured cartridges “deliver exceptional print performance, consistent yields and have amongst the highest performance rates in the industry”.
