The 11th event in Shanghai will see a range of returning pavilions and zones.
Paperworld China 2015 will take place at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre from 15 to 17 October, after the 2014 show saw a 12 percent growth in visitors. The event is scheduled for October this year as this is a “superior industry sourcing period”, according to Messe Frankfurt, with pavilions and zones featured at the 2014 show returning for the 2015 event.
The 10th show last September saw 22,357 visitors and 501 exhibitors attend from over 63 different countries, including: Korea; Hong Kong, Taiwan; Japan; Indonesia; Germany; the USA; Australia; France; Italy; Malaysia; Portugal; Sri Lanka; Switzerland; Turkey; the UK; Thailand; Russia; and India. A number of “quality” exhibitors from the stationery market has already confirmed their place at the 2015 event, including Dokumental, Max, Premec, Liberty and Simbalion.
Pavilions returning for the 2015 event include the Creative Pavilion and Oriental Culture zone, as well as the Wenzhou and Ningbo pavilions. The Creative Pavilion will again feature more DIY (do-it-yourself) supplies and products, as well as “live demonstrations and interactive workshops” and the “DIY Studio” for companies involved in the market sector. The “well-received” Oriental Culture zone meanwhile will “cooperate with museums and cultural organisations to highlight traditional arts and workmanship in combining cultural and contemporary elements”.
Fiona Chiew, Deputy General Manager for Messe Frankfurt (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., stated: “The DIY market is always expanding with new and innovative products continuing to inspire consumers, especially in the emerging market in China. Considering the tremendous success at last year’s Paperworld China, we will join forces again to establish the inaugural Creative Pavilion, expecting to double in exhibition space and exhibitor numbers.”
