Ekapija reported on Clover’s plan to “increase investment” in Serbia by constructing a recycling plant for mobile phones. The country’s Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection announced the plans, with Clover’s intentions presented at a meeting with Snezana Bogosavljevic Boskovic, the Minister for Agriculture and Environmental Protection.

The company already has facilities in the country set up for toner cartridge remanufacturing and recycling, and the meeting was also attended by Michael Kirby, the US ambassador to Serbia.

In 2011 Clover acquired Full Circle Wireless, which specialises in purchasing mobile phones and tablets before refurbishing and redistributing them for new use. In 2013 it also bought out America Communications, which supplies new and used telecommunications hardware to carriers, service providers, enterprise clients, end users and resellers around the world.
