May 11, 2015

circulareconomynewsCirculareconomynews.com has been set up by the organisers of the Resource circular economy event.

The website, www.circulareconomynews.com, will collect “incisive news and insight from across the globe”, and aim to help businesses “share experiences and expertise”, as well as help “raise the profile of those pioneering more sustainable business models”. The site’s content will come from a variety of sources, including “original content, RSS feeds, thought leadership pieces and news submitted”, with relevant information available “automatically”.

Having been set up by the organisers of the UK Resource event – a free show that highlights the circular economy – the site will help to “encourage and accelerate […] impartial, useful and practical learning around circular economy and resource efficiency for businesses”. The event is already said to be the “largest global gathering of businesses looking to take steps towards circular economy business models”, with the last even said to have seen over 11,000 professional visitors.

Ed Lawson, the site’s Co-Founder and Content Director, stated: “We are delighted to be launching the first news aggregation platform for the circular economy. Circulareconomynews.com showcases pioneering technologies and business models and provides an exciting new forum to share case studies, analysis and learning, which is so vital to the development of more sustainable business models.

“Together with events such as Resource, circulareconomynews.com will encourage and accelerate businesses on their journey to finding more sustainable ways to do business and in unlocking the commercial and environmental benefits of the circular economy.”
