The programme for the two-day event in Rome, Italy, on 4 and 5 June includes speakers from Clover, IDC and the Italian government on topics including market data, buying and selling businesses and procurement.
The programme, which can be viewed at http://live.therecycler.com/programme/, covers both days of the Focus on Europe conference, beginning on Thursday 4 June with a pre-conference Static Control seminar and tech talk sessions during the morning, followed by a headline sponsor’s lunch and the ETIRA AGM, before the conference opens to the rest of the delegates at 3pm.
Thursday afternoon will see an industry panel that consists of three separate presentations on value, REACH legislation and buying and selling your business. These will be given respectively by Static Control’s Simon Grimes, General Sales Manager for Key Accounts; Integral’s Managing Director Jan Hagemann; and Clover Imaging Group’s Managing Director Mark Perry. A cocktail reception and networking dinner will conclude the day, alongside an awards ceremony.
The conference opens at 9am on Friday 5 June with a talk from InfoTrends’ Senior Consultant Andrew Carroll about the Western European market, before IDC’s Przemek Kowalski discusses the CEMA (Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa) region. Two Italy-centric talks follow from ARTI-Italia’s Giovanni Ravelli and the Italian Ministry of the Environment’s Alessandra Masioli, respectively discussing the Italian market and its new environmental procurement law.
Delacamp COO Volker Kappius will then present on the total costs of a toner cartridge, before Clover Imaging’s Mark Dawson speaks about how the industry should refocus on remanufacturing. Finally, Nubeprint’s Juan Alvite then discusses how companies can succeed in MPS, with the conference concluding at 1.30pm.
