LMI signs strategic partnership deal with distributor

The US-based remanufacturer’s cartridges will now be available from Image Star.

The company stated that the “strategic partnership” with Image Star will see dealers throughout the USA be able to source the full line of LMI’s award-winning monochrome and colour print cartridges”, with Image Star referred to as “one of the nation’s most respected distributors of products and services for imaging dealers”.

The partnership deal is “effective immediately”, and was “initiated by dealer demand” according to LMI. The remanufacturer added that the new partnership “provides Image Star customers with exclusive access to LMI’s full portfolio of toner cartridges and MPS Ready remanufactured printer hardware inventoried and ready to ship from all Image Star’s distribution centres”.

In the past, LMI has sold cartridges and hardware “directly to dealers”, so this deal “demonstrates LMI’s commitment to serve resellers that partner with full service distributors to aggregate all their imaging supply needs”. Customers of either the remanufacturer or the distributor have been asked to contact their representatives for more information on the “new partnership opportunity”.
