The franchise’s UK business is looking for more franchisees, and is promoting its Print Services initiative.
The franchise published a piece on its website about the “business-to-business print services opportunity” that it offers to franchisees, commenting that “many companies are unaware of the true cost of normal, everyday printing for business and how it may be affecting their bottom line”. It added that as a “locally-based trusted printing solutions expert”, Cartridge World franchisees “can provide a transparent pricing structure” to customers so that they can “gain a real understanding of their printing costs”.
The franchise rebranded its offerings to customers under the title ‘Cartridge World Print Services’, and reported that it had teamed up with MPS technology and cloud software provider Nubeprint last year to develop an MPS programme for customers. With the Print Services products providing SMBs with “flexible print solutions”, franchisees are able to “deliver insight, analysis and the tools to bring tangible savings to their B2B clients”.
Tools include “hardware, automated consumable supply and maintenance”, with all this part of a “simple fixed monthly fee”, and Cartridge World added that “these good value subscription-based services generate annuity streams into franchisee’s businesses”. For franchisees, it noted that opportunities include “support from an internal franchise support team” as well as “access to industry expert partners” and the “traditional retail offering that it is known for”.
It concluded by stating that it has “transitioned from being a refiller of cartridges into a provider of print solutions to SMEs”, and added that franchisees can offer “finance, hardware and software solutions together with full service contracts” to consumers. The Recycler recently reported on the global franchise receiving a new majority shareholder, Suzhou Goldengreen Technologies (SGT).
