ECi launches community service award

ecilogoThe software developer has announced its inaugural Everyday Hero contest, which will draw nominations from its customer base. 

The contest is aimed at employees who are “making a difference in their communities through the contribution of time, effort, assistance and support”, with a grand prize for the winner’s charity of choice of $5,000 (€4,479), while the winning company or individual will receive $500 (€447) in cash.

Additionally, the three finalists will win free registration and accommodation at ECi’s 2015 Connect Conference. ECi will announce the winner during the conference, taking place at the Walt Disney World in November 2015. A panel of judges of ECi employees and partners will select the finalists and winner.

Traci Johnson, SVP of Global Corporate Marketing, said: “It has been a dream of ECi’s to create a program that would celebrate our customers and help support their local communities. On a daily basis we hear inspiring stories of how our customers supported someone else and through this contest we will be able to recognize those efforts.”
