The MG2570S and the iP2870S both come bundled with the new PG-745S black ink cartridge and the CL-746S colour cartridges.
The Asian Age reported on the new devices, which will be on display at Canon Image squares in 71 Indian cities. The MG2570S is “compact and lighweight”, designed for small spaces in a home, and features: Auto Power ON, turning the device on when a USB connection is made; My Image Garden and Creative Park Premium for creating “attractive collages” and Fun Filter effects for making calendars; and an ECO Information Window to notify users of how much paper they are saving and CO2 they are reducing.
The iP2870S is also described as “compact” and also features Auto Power ON mode and also has a quiet mode, for printing at any time of day with minimal noise.
The MG2570 is priced at Rs 3,650 ($57.22/€50.13) and the iP2870S at Rs 2,195 ($34.41/€30.15). Both are available in black colour.
