The SL-X7600GX features a print speed of 60ppm alongside other high-spec features.
The colour laser MFP business machine has a high A4 print speed, and also features a print resolution of 1,200 x 1,200dpi as well as an optional faxing capability. The device also utilises a 10.1-inch colour LCD touchscreen alongside 6GB of memory and a 320GB hard drive, while Samsung adds that its maximum monthly duty cycle is 300,000 pages. The touchscreen also pivots 90 degrees and works like a tablet computer, allowing for more “smart” working.
Other features of the SL-X7600GX include a first print time of 6.9 seconds, automatic duplexing, Google Cloud Print compatibility and near-field communication (NFC) technology, allowing for quicker mobile prints. The OEM also reflected on the printer’s “powerful quad-core CPU”, which it states is the “industry’s first”, delivering “high-performance interpreting and rendering emulation” to make it “twice as fast as conventional dual-core-based MFPs”.
Another new feature of the machine is its “two times faster dual scanning”, with both sides of a document scanned simultaneously at speeds of up to 240ipm. The scanning is twice as fast as Samsung’s X4300 machines, and six times faster than “other printers”.
