The OEM stated that the colour imageRUNNER ADVANCE C350P and monochrome imageRUNNER 1435P are based on its “robust MFP technology” and the “usability and reliability” of the imageRUNNER brand. Both printers have a “small footprint” and can “easily be integrated” with Canon’s MDS and other solutions for “consistency of operations throughout existing office fleets”.

Both printers feature separate drum and toner bottle cartridges for “high printing efficiency”, while consumables are shared with “companion” MFP printers to “help reduce support overheads and the number of supplies needed in the office”. The high-capacity toner bottles in the 1435P contain Canon’s Defined & Quick Fixing (DQF) toner for “high image quality and fast print speeds”, while the bottles in the C350P have Pure Quality (PQ) toner for “vibrant colour output”.

The C350P is aimed at mid- to enterprise-sized businesses, and utilises the V2 Colour profile to “provide an impactful look and feel with vibrant colour and sharp, well-defined images”. In turn, the 1435P is “a good fit” for small offices or departments with “compact space requirements”, offering “high-quality letter and legal-sized documents”.

The integration of both machines with Canon’s MDS programmes is said to “help businesses effectively manage” the printers for “optimal fleet consistency”. The two machines are available now in the USA from authorised Canon dealers, with the C350P available for $3,000 (€2,716) and the 1435P for $1,300 (€1,177).

Junichi Yoshitake, Canon USA’s Senior Vice President and General Manager for the Business Imaging Solutions Group, stated: “Canon strives to meet the needs of our customers by providing diverse solutions to help maximise their company operations. The ability to implement device integration seamlessly into customers’ office fleets is a testament to our business model of providing services and solutions that can be customised to meet the individual needs of various organisations and vertical markets, such as the healthcare, financial and legal industries.”
