The company has launched toners and components for remanufacturing HP, Brother and Xerox cartridges.
The first release is X Generation colour toner, components and an end-cap conversion kit for remanufacturing cartridges used in HP’s Colour LaserJet Pro MFP M177 and 176 printers, which Uninet states is a colour MFP that “enables easy printing at work, home or on the go with mobile printing features”, with speeds of up to 17ppm in black and four ppm in colour. The company also offers a complete remanufacturing solution and replacement toner cartridges for these models.
With new cartridges entering the market, it “takes time for the empties to become readily available” to the aftermarket, and so remanufacturers “are often locked out […] due to the lack of available cores”. Uninet states that its end-cap conversion kit – including a right end-cap and left stabiliser – allows remanufacturers to “resolve [their] lack of cores” and convert a CP1025 toner cartridge for use in the printers, requiring only “some minor machining of the toner hopper”.
The second launch is multipurpose Absolute Black toner formula for use in HP’s P1000, 2000 and 3000 series of monochrome printers, including the P1005, 1006, 1007, 125, 127, 2035, 2055, 3005 and 3015. The P Series Multipurpose toners (MPT-P) are general purpose toner formulas that “provide outstanding print quality” and “the highest density on the market”, according to Uninet.

The formula also “features the lowest cost solution with OEM parts, and a very low cost per page”, and Uninet added that the formula is also “qualified with all OEM and Uninet components”, offering remanufacturers the “flexibility of carrying less inventory and fewer numbers of SKUs”, with a complete remanufacturing solution also available.
The third release is X Generation black toner and components for remanufacturing the monochrome TN660 and 630 cartridges used in Brother’s HL-L2380 and 2360 printers. The HL-2360 is a “new, small format” monochrome device with a print speed of 32ppm and a retail price of $199 (€180), featuring separate toner and drum cartridges.
The two toner cartridges have yields of 1,200 pages (the TN630) and 2,600 pages (the TN660), while the drum cartridge (DR360) has a yield of 12,000 pages. Uninet stated that the cartridges are “also used in a number of machines” other than the 2360 and 2380, including the HL-L2380 and 2340, DCP-L2540 and MFC-L2740, 2720 and 2700. The company also noted that it “offers a complete remanufacturing solution for this cartridge”.
Finally, Uninet released Absolute Black toner and components for remanufacturing cartridges used in the Xerox Phaser 3260 and WorkCentre 3225 MFP, which are both monochrome machines. Both are based on the same print engine, with speeds of 28ppm, and are “targeted for home or small office use”, featuring duplex printing and separate toner and drum cartridges to “keep operating costs low”.
The OEM toners come in two different versions: the 106R02775, rated at 1,500 pages; and the 106R02777, at 3,000 pages. The drum cartridge (the 101R00474) is rated at 10,000 pages, and Uninet offers “a complete remanufacturing solution” for the cartridges.
