The OEM’s distributor Bytes Document Solutions launched the 3225 in the region.
IT-Online reported on the launch of the WorkCentre 3225, which was previously launched in the USA in October 2014. The device is said to “give small businesses a competitive edge in today’s enterprise market”, and has “features to support individual or small business printing needs”. The A4 machine is of a “compact size” and “fits easily into tight, busy spaces”, and features print speeds of up to 28ppm and first page print in 8.5 seconds.
Other features include “long-lasting cartridges” and automatic duplexing, power-saving and toner-saving modes, the Earth Smart print driver and a print resolution of 4,800 x 600dpi for “clear text and sharp graphics”. Xerox’ Easy Wireless Setup feature also allows mobile devices to make secure wireless connections “directly to the device”, while a “variety of sizes and a wide range of media” can be printed on using the printer.
Ernest Leong, OPB (Office Print) Product Manager of Bytes Document Solutions’ Xerox Division, stated: “The Xerox WorkCentre 3225 enables users to increase productivity, be more efficient, streamline processes and control costs. The printer is compact, yet extremely powerful, and is designed to support either a single user or a small team. It also includes reliable, cost-effective copy, scan and fax capabilities for all-in-one convenience.”
