The OEM announced that seven of its machines have received the RAL-UZ171 Blue Angel ecolabel, which “maintains the trend for every printer and multifunction device” in Kyocera’s ECOSYS and TASKalfa ranges “to meet the standards of Blue Angel’s environmental jury”.

The seven devices are all part of the ECOSYS series, and include the P6130cdn, P6035cdn, M6030cdn, M6530cdn, M6035cidn, M6535cidn and P4040dn. Kyocera added that Blue Angel “is one of the oldest and best-known ecolabels” that provide consumers “with invaluable assistance in their search for particularly eco-friendly products”, noting that the OEM was the first printer OEM, in 1997, to “obtain the Blue Angel designation”, and has “continuously received” it for new products.

Tracey Rawling Church, Director of Corporate Social Responsibility at Kyocera Document Solutions UK, commented: “Environmental protection and sustainability are integral elements of our corporate philosophy and we are constantly developing our products with this in mind. We’re delighted to earn the Blue Angel label on the new products in our range, as it confirms our faithfulness to this very important cause and maintains our position as being synonymous with environment-friendly document management solutions.”
