It spoke of how the USITC (United States International Trade Commission) has issued “about 30 seizure and forfeiture orders” in the last month, while Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has “denied entry to certain inkjet products” covered by a GEO awarded to HP in October 2011. The company also mentioned that an “industry behemoth based out of Zhuhai” was also acquitted of patent infringement, though it was cleared.

Print-Rite went on to mention its recently-secured PR-2 gear patent , described as a “rescue to the aftermarket industry” in light of Canon’s on-going dongle gear investigation, which has now culminated in a General Exclusion Order.
