The OEM has released version 4.0 of its imageRUNNER ADVANCE desktop software.
In a press release, the OEM reported on the release of version 4.0 of the imageRUNNER ADVANCE software, which “allows users to better manage documents and interact with their imageRUNNER ADVANCE systems”. The software offers users the ability to “easily” manage and share documents and files, convert them to PDF and print with “enhanced” options, and is compatible with other Canon software.
The programme can also “flexibly integrate” into a business’ “pre-existing workflow”, and features a new interface, editing functions and personalisation settings. The main software contains a desktop browser and editor, and is now available from authorised Canon dealers, though 60-day free trials are also available.
Junichi Yoshitake, Canon USA’s Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Business Imaging Solutions Group, commented: “With the addition of imageRUNNER ADVANCE Desktop V4.0, Canon continues to demonstrate our commitment to providing seamless, holistic solutions for our business customers. Companies require solutions that will complement pre-existing workflows and facilitate document management.
“With a simple, highly customisable interface, this upgraded desktop application joins Canon’s award-winning portfolio of enterprise solutions, providing customers with the proper tools to better manage their workflow systems.”
