The new devices are said to feature the “fastest real world print speeds” in their class.

The printers were launched alongside a number of laptops and PCs, with the four new machines part of the LaserJet 400 series of printers and MFPs. HP stated that the printers offer “fastest real world print speeds” in their class, and are aimed at SMBs looking for “speed and efficiency”. The four printers include the LaserJet Pro M402, the Colour LaserJet Pro M452, the LaserJet Pro MFP M426 and the Colour LaserJet Pro MFP M477.

The range is said by HP to have the “fastest first page out, fastest two-sided printing, and lowest energy consumption” in their class, and each also offers PIN Printing print job storage as well as wireless, NFC (near-field communication) and cloud printing compatibility. The toner cartridges in each of the laser printers utilise the OEM’s JetIntelligence toner, which it claims offers “precision black toner” and “higher page yields per cartridge”.

The LaserJet Pro M402 is a monochrome machine described as “great for compact work spaces”, as it is the “smallest and most energy efficient printer in its class”; while the Colour LaserJet Pro M452 offers “best-in-class colour printing” with a 48 percent faster first page print time. The LaserJet Pro MFP M426 meanwhile offers dual-sided scanning and “100 percent faster two-sided printing” than its predecessor; while the Colour LaserJet Pro MFP M477 offers “150 percent faster two-sided printing and 46 percent faster first page out” than its predecessor.

All four devices are expected to be available from October, with the LaserJet Pro M402 available from $269 (€238); the Colour LaserJet Pro M452 from $399 (€353); the LaserJet Pro MFP M426 from $449 (€397); and the Colour LaserJet Pro MFP M477 from $529 (€468).
