The cartridges are for use in HP’s M277dw, M277n, M252dw and M252n printers, which were introduced in March this year.
The CF400 series has a standard- and high-yield version, with the former, the CF400A, printing 1,500 black pages and 1,400 colour pages, while the latter, the CF400X, prints 2,800 black pages and 2,300 colour pages.
Aster assures that its replacement cartridge features the company’s patent-free OPC drum, “avoiding infringing the OEM’s gear patents”, while they deliver equivalent page yield to the originals.
The replacement cartridges are currently available from Aster’s China factory, and will be in Aster’s US and Netherlands warehouses in the second half of this month.
