Static Control first to market with HP chips

HP CP2025The largest manufacturer of aftermarket imaging systems and components has launched extended yield chips for cartridges used in the HP CP2025 and M451 printers.

The new products for the CP2025 include a replacement chip for the black cartridge, coded XTH2025CP-K, which offers an extended page yield of 4,700, up 34 percent from the OEM’s 3,500 pages; as well as the XTH2025CP-C chip for cyan, the XTH2025CP-MA chip for magenta and the XTH2025CP-Y chip for yellow, all of which have an extended yield of 3,400 pages, up 21 percent from HP’s 2,800-page stated yield.

The M451 now has chips available for the black cartridge, coded XTH541CP-K, with an extended yield of 4,400 pages, up 10 percent from HP’s 4,000 pages;, while the cyan XTH451CP-C, the magenta XTH451CP-MA and the yellow XTH451CP-Y each have an extended 3,400-page yield, up 31 percent from the OEM’s 2,600 yield.

Packs of 10 and 50 chips are available. Erwin Pijpers, Senior Vice President of Sales, said: “This chip provides a unique opportunity for remanufacturers.
