Ricoh unveils workgroup laser printer

C440DNThe SP C440DN prints at 42ppm in sizes up to 8.5 inches by 14 inches at resolutions up to 1,200 x 1,200dpi.

The device integrates today’s newest workstyles, while mobile workers can print on demand via the Ricoh Smart Device Print&Scan app, PR Newswire reported. It can also serve two networks at once, such as the main and guest networks of a business, and has very low printing costs, with $0.01 (€0.009) per page for black and white and $0.05 (€0.045) for colour, beating “typical” costs of $0.07 (€0.063).

The printer can handle the broadest range of media in its class, the 140lb stock, and has an average monthly volume of 3,200 pages and a maximum monthly volume of 20,000.
