EnujiokeFive men who stole ink cartridges from Office Depot and Office Max stores have been sentenced to spend the next five to six years in prison.

The men were believed to be members or associates of the Broad Street Boys gang in Atlanta, USA, and were planning to use the stolen ink cartridges to produce counterfeit money, ajc.com reported. A statement from the District Attorney said that on 12 different occasions one or more of the criminals entered a retail store and filled large rubbish bags with ink cartridges, and fled without paying.

Jeffrey Chijioke Enujioke used a legitimate business as a front for moving the stolen property on, and pled guilty at the trial along with four other men who were caught on video.

Enujioke was sentenced to 15 years for racketeering as he admitted to buying the stolen ink, with five years to serve in prison and the rest on probation. The other men received the same sentence, but with six years on probation.
