The components supplier has added to its Absolute Black, Absolute Colour and X Generation ranges with toners for HP and Xerox printers.

The Absolute Black polyester monochrome toner is “designed specifically” for the HP 4250 and 4350 devices, while X Generation colour chemically-produced toner and components have been brought to market for the HP CP6015, CM6030 and CM6040.

Uninet says remanufacturers can make “significant profits”, as toner cartridges for the machines cost over $200 (€176), with a set of four colours costing $1,000 (€882) or more.

X Generation colour toner and components have also been made available for the HP M252 and M227 series MFPs, which are “based on a new print engine”. The cartridge end caps are “sonically welded” and have to be “broken” off to access the interior.

Uninet is providing replacement end caps that can be more easily removed for the next remanufacturing cycle. A drum cover is also available for additional protection during shipment.

OEM toner cartridges CF400, 401, 402, 403 come in both standard yield, with 1,500 pages for black and 1,400 pages for colours, and high yield, with 2,300 pages for black and 2,300 pages for colors. Toner is already available, with other components such as drums and smartchips to be made available soon.

Absolute Black toner and components are also now on the market for the Xerox Phaser 3260, 3052 and WorkCentre 3225 and 3215 monochrome devices, which have two cartridges; a 1,500-page cartridge, coded 106R02775, and a 3,000-page cartridge, coded 106R02777. The separate 101R00474 drum cartridge is rated at 10,000 pages.

Uninet says these cartridges are “considered easy to remanufacture”, needing just the toner and chip to be replaced.
